How to apply
2. Submit application
Use the JAE worksheet to guide you in preparing your:
- Personal particulars
- 12 course choices and their codes in order of preference
- Elective programme choice (if any)
Once you are ready with the details, submit your application through the JAE Internet System (JAE-IS) during the application period.
To log into the JAE-IS, use your personal Singpass. You cannot use your parent's Singpass.
If you encounter Singpass issues, . If you still cannot log into JAE-IS, request for assistance.
How to complete the application
- Follow the on-screen instructions. Refer to the JAE-IS User Guide for the detailed steps.
- Check and update your contact details in the JAE-IS. If you provide a Singapore mobile number during the application, you will receive the posting outcome via SMS.
- Indicate the 12 unique course codes in order of preference.
- If you are eligible to apply for the Chinese, Malay or Tamil Language Elective Programme, include the junior colleges offering these programmes in your course choices. For more information, see page 10 of the guide.
- After verifying the contact details and course choices, click "Submit".
- If you need to make any changes, you must do so during the application period.
How do I know I have successfully submitted my application
You will receive a verification slip showing the submitted courses through the email address you provided in JAE-IS. Check your inbox, junk, or spam folder.
If you did not receive the verification slip, re-login to JAE-IS.
- If you can view it online, your application is successful.
- If not, your JAE application is incomplete and cannot be processed. You must re-submit your course choices in JAE-IS. For any further assistance, you can contact us.
- If you are inactive on JAE-IS for more than 15 minutes, you will be logged out automatically, and any information that you have entered will not be saved.
- If there are changes in citizenship, address, or other issues, request for assistance.
- For guidance on your next steps, speak with your teachers or Education and Career Guidance (ECG) Counsellor in your secondary school. Alternatively, you may make an via the ECG Centre @ MOE, which offers online or phone counselling services.
