Secondary 1 (S1) Posting process

Most students are placed in secondary schools through the S1 Posting process, which takes place once the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) results are released. Learn about the process and how to prepare.

Release of PSLE results

  • PSLE results will be released at 11am.

If you or your child is unable to collect their PSLE results and other relevant documents, you can nominate another adult to do so using this .

7 calendar days starting from the day of PSLE results release

Submit school choices

The S1 Portal opens for 24-hour online submission from 11.30am on the day of PSLE results release. You can submit your child's 6 preferred school choices online by 4.30pm on the last day.

Receive school posting results

S1 posting results will be released between Thursday, 18 December and Friday, 19 December 2025 (tentative) through S1 Portal and SMS.
